Here if a recent project from a theater in New Jersey. The building was built in 1908. The original pilaster caps are made from plaster. Over the years one had disintegrated beyond repair so a new one was custom made from foam to replace it. The new cap was created from a photo of the original. The photos show a brief overview of the process.
